Manual distribution of bedding is both physically demanding and time-consuming – and often a challenge when animals need permanent access to fresh rooting material. With AirSys Welfare, bedding is distributed automatically, in small portions and at scheduled times around the clock.

The result is improved animal welfare, as pigs are stimulated more frequently and the risk of tail biting and internal conflicts is reduced. At the same time, the workload for staff is eased, and documentation requirements become easier to meet.

Automated distribution ensures that pigs have access to fresh and stimulating rooting material, supplied in small portions throughout the day. This encourages natural behaviour, reduces stress, and creates a calmer barn environment.

Flexible solution for your production

AirSys Welfare can handle different types of bedding, such as straw or sawdust. The system comes with a standard hopper for manual filling but can be expanded with a straw table, shredder, and chopper – allowing you to use your own straw bales efficiently.
